'Trial of the Nannies'

Looking for Daycare, we choose to hire a live in nanny, from Armania. During our waiting period, Pappa (Bart's Father) joined us for three weeks to help with the kids. Durning this time the kids had a great time and enjoyed playing soccer, going to the park and stores with pappa, and learned how to play a few games on the computer. Then our nanny arrived and pappa went home, sadly we said goodbye to our top nanny only to be replaced be Arshaluys. After a long painful month, of the Bruley's having a hard time coping and the nanny not being able to find a husband on the internet (not from lack of trying) we had to bid her goodbye and bring over Kari's mother instead.

The Army Comes a Knocking

In August Bart was called up once again, to help the Goverment win the war on terror. He was needed to help train the deploying troops a class in 'combate life saving' skills. A very rewarding class (if you don't count pay as rewarding) but also a traveling job. The first place (other than Germany) he went was back to sunny England. Spending a week with the Airforce but also taking in Cambridge, where they really do play blackball, and London once again.
