Thanksgiving

For thanksgiving this year Kari and I went to Paris to take in all the lovely sights. The ones other than our children who stayed home. We hit all the big monuments and about every museum known to man kind. Travelled to the top of the Eiffel tower on the most windy/rainy day every and even took a semi-romantic boat rude down the seine river. Plus I didn't have to drive in Paris (big time bonus) took the train.

This sign will have to say it all.

What blog of Paris could not be contain at least one shot of the Eiffel Tower ours is at night.

Kari poses at the Arc de Triomphe, before we journied to the top for the best views of Paris.

November Starts

November starts as a big month for the "German Bruleys" with the Big Birthday celebration for Alex (she turned 7 this month). This year we rented the Beirgarten at the sportsplatz for her party (17 attendies so house is a bit to small) for her party. Party was 1 week after Birthday due to fact that daddy had to work the day of her Birthday, so on that day she went to the circus with the rest of the family.

Also we had the towns big "latern fest" for the children who march around town (this year it was through a mile and a half forest) with there laterns untill they reach a big bon fire and eat bread. big event for a four year old german child.

End of October

October has come to and end and so has soccer. Both of the older children have finished there second year of soccer. Alex team went all year without a single lose (of course they played the same team all season and had some ties). but she has turned into a very good player scoring goals the last 2 weeks in a row. Also likes to play goalie a lot and is very good there too. Anton finished his second year of start-smart soccer this year that teaches all the fundimentals of the sport, so next year he moves up into the big leagues. Austin is now 9 months old and is very mobil now, crawling, jumping and climbing on everything, seems to have a lot of his mothers energy.
