Turkey

In April we took a little trip, over 'spring break' to Turkey. We stayed at a lovely all-inclusive resort in Alanya on the Mediterranean Sea. We spent time also in Antalya, shopping and sight seeing. We took a jeep tour through the country side and relaxed at the Turkish bath house.

This is the restraunt we ate at durning our "jeep tour" very authinic Turkish food.

We also stopped at a Turkish school and got to attend their classroom (this is break time).

They also allowed us to go into a mosque, proper atire is required. Kari and Austin join in.

No this was not the morning arobics program, but part of a dolphin show we went to on our "shopping trip".

The beach.

Every day was filled with sunshine and one whole day was spent relaxing at the beach.

Austin the first day at the beach.

Alex enjoys the water (still a bit cold this time of year but didn't get an option when to have spring break). But kids don't seem to mind.

Anton enjoys a nape on his chair.

Daddy enjoys part of the 'all-inclusive drinks'.

On the day of the shopping trip into Antalya, we stopped by this waterfall for veiwing pleasure.

We also got to experience the Turkish Bath houses. were you could get a facial, nails, hair or just a complete rub down.

Kari gets a rub down, or two.

Alex got her hair braided.

One of the last days, Bart and Austin took a trip up to the castle at the top of the hill. While the rest of the family hung out in the pool.

This was one of the pools at the resort.
